Welcome to the Kindness Couch where we are all about learning how to love yourself, connect with your inner self and creating lives that just feel right.
Being an adult is challenging, am I right! Almost daily we feel judged for the way we do certain things and end up making big and small life decisions based on trying to meet other people's expectations. Sound familiar?
After a while it's hard to tell what we really want for ourselves. We start wondering why, despite numerous accomplishments, we feel unfulfilled in life. After working so hard, and ticking thing's off the 'life checklist' why are we not happy?
Could it be that we have lost touch with who we are? That in the process of living up to others expectations, and/or ideals, the voice in the back of your mind started second guessing who you are, what you are doing and started creating layers of self-doubt? Questions about your self-worth sneak in, you lose touch with your intuition, you start getting harder and harder on yourself.
You forget who you are, don't like yourself, or perhaps even get to a point where you barely recognise any part of yourself. But you want to. You want to like, even love yourself. You know it's all there if only you could tap into it.
But how do you start? I can tell you where you could start. By asking yourself why you are where you are, be honest with yourself and dig deep. Then ask yourself what's important to you, your values. Then compare the two.
How do you get from where you are to where you want to be? Self-Kindness people!
Be kind to yourself! Love yourself and know you are worth a beautiful life!
If I asked you to close your eyes, focus on, and slow down your breathing for a while. Then ask you to listen to the kind voice in your head, could you hear it? It's okay if you can't, a lot of people can't. But you can, with practice.
Start each day by reminding yourself that you are worthy of a beautiful life. Put some energy into it and let yourself believe it.
At the Kindness Couch we have developed a Life by Kindness Design Model to support our clients in rekindling their self-love.
This model is inspired by parts of the wheel of life, motivation theory, personal development and intuitive techniques I have learnt over the past 20 years. Starting with my degree in Leisure Management (yep, that's a real degree), accreditation in conversational coaching, qualifications in guiding and teaching meditation, plus a stack of life experience and my own personal development trials and tribulations.
At the center of all that I do is the unequivocal belief that every single human being has the knowledge within them to create a life that they love. It's just a matter of tapping into it.
To some this may sound airy fairy or just plain impossible, but that's okay. If you are here and reading this, there must be a reason - I'll leave that with you to figure out.
To some, this might be just what you have been looking for. Some one to ask you the questions you can't ask yourself, to hold you accountable and to remind you that you are worthy, until you can believe it in yourself. To hold space for you, without judgement, to help you find your amazing self again.
If you are ready to get serious about learning to love yourself again then we have three amazing options for you to chose from.
1) 1:1 3 Month Package including 7 x 45 minute Zoom sessions where it is all about putting YOU in the drivers seat - start any time.
2) 8 Week Group Self-Kindness Intensive in an online setting - 4 Groups per year.
3) DIY Guided Self-Kindness Roadmap - coming soon!
In each of our packages we start by walking through the Life By Kindness Design Model, then use strategic questioning and self reflection techniques to allow you to personalise your journey. We use meditation to help calm the mind and start to access your inner wisdom.
At the end of the day, it is my goal to empower you to realise that YOU are the expert in YOUR life.
I'm Candice Fraser, a Meditation Teacher, Conversational Coach and founder of The Kindness Couch.
I'm also a busy Mum who decide that I was going to lead by example when it comes to raising my sons by creating a life that brings me joy - who would have thought it includes helping others do the same!
I take people from a space of feeling disconnected with who they are to a place of knowing and trusting themselves enough to follow a path that feels right for them.
I am absolutely passionate about supporting people to connect with themselves, and use that understanding to navigate life.
I acknowledge wholeheartedly that it isn't an easy undertaking, but it is worthwhile. I truly believe that ultimate self-kindness happens when we take the time to figure out who we are and use that knowledge to create a life that sparks joy in your heart.
I gently hold space for clients to let go of what's holding them back and believe that every person has the knowledge within them find the answers they are looking for.
My ultimate goal is for clients to walk away with a greater understanding of who they are.
